Location:  Lisbon, Portugal

Role: Dutch speaking Application Developer Support Agent

Salary: 1,359 euro gross per month (this does include also the holiday bonuses and meal allowance). Package with company accommodation is 1,100 euro gross p/m plus free accommodation (so not cost for rent and utility bills)

Working Hrs: 40 Hours per week (8 hours per day with an additional lunch break hour) on a rotational shift pattern, Monday to Friday from 7am to 7pm.

Our client is a global outsourcing company – they have offices around the world and in Portugal they have multiple sites where they support large international clients and assist with business in more than 30 different languages, so you'd be joining a very multicultural environment. 

The Role:

As an Application Developer Support Agent, you will serve as a vital point of contact for developers utilizing our client’s tool. Your primary responsibility is to ensure timely, thorough, and empathetic support for complex issues. You will manage escalations, provide technical insights, and uphold platform policies — all while maintaining exceptional communication standards via email and chat channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve escalations or appeals from developers regarding actions taken on their applications.
  • Simplify complex technical issues and summarize them clearly in written communication, including email, chat, and internal ticketing systems.
  • Conduct detailed research and documentation with high levels of accuracy and critical thinking.
  • Multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate sound judgment in decision-making.
  • Exhibit expert knowledge of app store policies and platform guidelines, paired with genuine empathy for developers’ challenges.
  • Review, curate, and maintain accurate developer data and documentation.
  • Proofread and finalize content for internal and external publishing.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Prior experience in customer support, preferably in a technical or developer-facing role.
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to comprehend and troubleshoot technical issues with attention to policy enforcement.
  • Comfortable working with support platforms, ticketing tools, and chat/email channels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to process detailed information and deliver clear solutions.
  • Team-oriented, adaptable, and proactive in problem-solving.
