Cast-A-Way is recruiting talented hospitality professionals for multiple leading cruise lines. As a member of the onboard restaurant team, you will deliver guest-focused dining service at scale—ensuring prompt timing, accuracy, and flawless hygiene. You will work closely with the galley and bar teams, manage POS systems and section reports, and uphold brand excellence across all dining operations.

Positions Available:

• Restaurant Attendant: Responsible for mise en place, table setup/reset, water and bread service, clearing tables, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the station team.

• Assistant Waiter: Supports the Waiter, explains menu basics and allergens, serves beverages, entrées, and desserts, and operates POS systems under supervision.

• Waiter (Ship Experience Required): Owns a station, takes orders, coordinates course timing with the galley, upsells menu items, resolves guest issues, and reconciles POS section reports.

• Head Waiter (Ship Experience Required): Supervises multiple stations, coaches dining staff, manages VIP services and complex complaints, and audits hygiene and overall service flow.

• Assistant Maitre'd: Co-manages main dining room operations with the Maitre'd, including scheduling, section layouts, seating plans, openings/closings, service consistency, and liaison with the galley, bar, and Guest Services.

. Essential Requirements:

• Good level of spoken and written English (additional languages ​​are a plus)

• C1/D Seaman Visa eligibility and valid Passport

• Prior relevant hospitality or dining service experience (prior shipboard experience mandatory for Waiter and Head Waiter roles)

. Key Responsibilities Include:

• Providing attentive, high-quality dining service in accordance with company standards

• Coordinating seamlessly with galley and bar teams for efficient course delivery

• Operating POS terminals, handling section reports, and supporting order accuracy

• Maintaining strict USPH / Public Health and food hygiene standards

• Creating memorable experiences for guests, handling feedback professionally, and promoting menu offerings

Experience Required:

Experience in busy restaurants, hotels, resorts, or high-volume dining establishments is required. Prior cruise ship experience is required for Waiter and Head Waiter positions, and strongly preferred for supervisory roles.
