Content Moderators play an important role in ensuring the safety of online communities against harmful user generated content. Safeguarding the online communication space can lead to meaningful and rewarding work for a content moderator as the mission of moderation aims to create positive, safe and inclusive environments for everyone.

Rewarding outcomes are not often without challenges. As a part of the job requirement, you will be required to review and analyze explicit and extremely sensitive content sometimes involving graphic or otherwise disturbing text, videos, and images which may be disturbing due to their egregious nature. The content under review is likely to expose the reviewer to crime scenes, dangerous or derogatory content, abuse, harassment and sexually explicit content.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Revision of user reports regarding website content,
  • Analysis and identification of content according to compliance policies,
  • Making well-balanced decisions and helping to resolve inquiries to defined policies and procedures by flagging discrepancies,
  • Using market specific knowledge and insights to improve the support of user community,
  • Revision of sensitive content, sometimes involving graphic or disturbing subject matter
REQUIREMENTS
  • Proficiency of Dutch language on at least C1 level and English at B2 level,
  • Additional proficiency of German- nice to have,
  • Availability to work on a 16/7 shift (including weekend shifts) from the office,
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills,
  • Quick learner and adaptable to learn new processes, concepts, and skills,
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills,
  • Strong attention to detail and a desire to deliver accurately, efficiently, and to a high standard,
  • Having a neutral mindset to alternative video content that needs classification

Due to Client security requirements in the project, it is a condition of your employment in the offered position to present a valid NFC-enabled ID card (i.e. an e-chip-enabled ID/Passport) and undergo the Client mandated ID check as a part of the Client onboarding to the project. If the above requirement is not fulfilled Cognizant will be entitled to cancel this offer and not enter into employment agreement with you or, in case the employment agreement is signed with you prior to completion of the abovementioned verification, to terminate your employment. The Client being the data controller responsible for this specific verification process will contact you separately to provide you with more detailed information in this regard.

Z uwagi na wprowadzone przez Klienta wymogi bezpieczeństwa w projekcie, warunkiem Twojego zatrudnienia na oferowanym stanowisku jest okazanie ważnego dowodu tożsamości (dowodu osobistego / paszportu) z warstwą elektroniczną (NFC) i przejście procedury weryfikacji tożsamości wymaganej przez Klienta w ramach prowadzonego przez Klienta procesu onboardingu do projektu. Jeśli powyższy wymóg nie zostanie spełniony, Cognizant ma prawo wycofać ofertę zatrudnienia i odstąpić od podpisania z Tobą umowy o pracę lub, w przypadku, gdy umowa o pracę została już podpisana przed zakończeniem ww. procedury weryfikacyjnej, Cognizant może rozwiązać z Tobą umowę o pracę. Klient, będący administratorem danych odpowiedzialnym za ten konkretny proces weryfikacyjny, skontaktuje się z Tobą odrębnie, aby przekazać Ci szczegółowe informacje na ten temat.
