German Speaking Business Development Representative
Barcelona, Spain
Basic Salary: €25,440 base + up to €6,360 bonus per year

About the role
As a Business Development Representative, you’ll focus on identifying new sales opportunities, understanding customer needs, and driving business growth through outbound outreach.
You’ll be the first point of contact for many businesses, helping them explore how cloud solutions can improve the way they work. Your role is to spark interest, qualify opportunities, and guide prospects toward the right sales path.
You’ll work toward individual targets while contributing to a broader EMEA sales team. This is a phone-based role, with most interactions happening through outbound calls and emails.

What you’ll do
• Meet quarterly sales-qualified opportunity (SQO) targets and daily/weekly activity goals
• Manage a portfolio of accounts to identify high-potential prospects
• Run outbound campaigns, including cold calls and emails to senior decision-makers
• Build quick rapport, uncover business needs, and assess technical requirements
• Match customer challenges with suitable cloud solutions
• Maintain accurate records in Salesforce (leads, accounts, opportunities, activities)
• Contribute to team KPIs such as pipeline growth, conversion rates, and productivity
• Keep detailed notes to support collaboration across teams

What we’re looking for
• Native-level German (C2) and strong English (C1), both written and spoken
• Degree or at least 2 years of relevant experience
• Solid understanding of cloud computing, especially Google Cloud Platform
• Experience in outbound sales, cold calling, and managing large account portfolios
• Strong ability to translate business needs into practical solutions
• Comfortable working in a target-driven, phone-based environment
• Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Self-driven, competitive, and results-oriented mindset

• Good understanding of business culture in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
• Ability to identify high-growth companies and market opportunities
• Skilled at handling complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
• Comfortable discussing ROI, integration, and technical value
• Awareness of data privacy regulations like GDPR
• Ability to build trust with cautious or sceptical clients
