What you will do in this role

As an Account Manager on our team, you will:
- Use CRM to contact, qualify accounts and generate opportunities
- Ensure daily, weekly and monthly KPIs are hit, activity and performance (calls, accounts contacted, revenue generated and confirmed)
- Update CRM with all communication and as per standards expected.
- Follow up on accounts and ensure regular communication is maintained.
- Participate in sales activities (call storms, industry focus, hotel focus etc.)
- Ensure all opportunities (meetings & events and group accommodation) are qualified and followed up as per standards, both with clients and hotels
- Have an upselling approach when dealing with clients.
- Provide chain wide discounts based on client requirements and follow up on usage by client
- Offer alternative solutions upon no availability of hotels
- Assist with business travel queries as well as individual queries when required
- Work on external lists when required on other platforms as provide
