DESCRIPTION
Location: Lisbon, Portugal
Role: German speaking AI Language Evaluation Specialist
Salary: salary package 1100 euro gross p/m (paid 14 p/a) plus 7.63 euro net p/working day food vouchers
Working hrs: 40 hrs p/week rotational within a 24x7 operation
Relocation package: subsidised accommodation available

Are you passionate about language, technology, and artificial intelligence? We're looking for a native-level language specialist to join an international team working on cutting-edge AI technology. In this role, you'll review and evaluate AI-generated content, helping improve the quality, accuracy, and safety of next-generation language models. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in AI annotation, content evaluation, or quality assurance who wants to work at the forefront of AI innovation.
What you'll be doing
- Review and evaluate AI-generated responses
- Label and annotate language model outputs according to detailed guidelines
- Assess content for quality, relevance, factual accuracy, safety, and policy compliance
- Identify errors, inconsistencies, and edge cases
- Apply annotation guidelines accurately across different content types
- Meet quality, accuracy, and productivity targets
- Provide valuable feedback that helps improve AI systems
- Handle confidential information in accordance with project standards
REQUIREMENTS
- Fluent German
- Good command of English (B2 or higher)
- Strong understanding of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) (essential)
- Experience with AI data annotation, AI evaluation, RLHF, Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT), content labeling, Trust & Safety, Quality Assurance, or a similar analytical role
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong written communication and reading comprehension
- High attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed guidelines consistently
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment
- Professional, reliable, and able to handle confidential information with discretion
