DESCRIPTION
Location: Lisbon, Portugal
Role: German speaking Content Moderator
Salary: salary package 1,100 euro gross p/m (paid 14 x p/a) plus 100 euro gross fixed monthly bonus (paid 11 x p/a) plus 7.63 EUR net per working day on food vouchers
Working hrs: 40 hrs p/week, rotational 24x7 operation
Relocation package:
- Furnished room in a shared apartment for up to 12 months
- Utilities included
- Subsidised rent, deducted directly from salary
We are looking for a German-speaking Content Moderator to join an international team in Lisbon. You will review content uploaded to a leading e-commerce platform, ensuring it meets the required quality, safety, policy and legal standards. Using your knowledge of the German market and local culture, you will make accurate and consistent moderation decisions.
Your Responsibilities
- Review e-commerce content according to platform policies and quality standards
- Ensure content is reviewed within agreed service levels
- Make objective and consistent decisions based on established guidelines
- Identify content that may breach platform policies, legal requirements or safety standards
- Apply your knowledge of the German market, language and cultural differences
- Escalate complex or uncertain cases in line with company procedures
- Remain up to date with the platform’s products, services and content standards
- Adapt to policy changes, updated procedures and changing work schedules
- Maintain high levels of accuracy during busy promotional or seasonal periods
REQUIREMENTS
- Fluent German
- Good level of English
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good understanding of the German market and cultural nuances
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
- Ability to apply policies objectively, accurately and consistently
- High attention to detail
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Sound judgement, integrity and a professional approach to sensitive material
- Understanding of e-commerce platforms and online content is an advantage
- Previous content moderation experience is beneficial
