Solution Architect - Finance and SAP Platforms (Remote/BG )

For one of our clients - a leader in sustainable marine cargo handling, offering a diverse

portfolio of products and services, we are looking for the role of a Solution Architect -

Finance and SAP Platforms (Remote from Bulgaria).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Own the roadmap and development of finance-related concepts, ensuring alignment
• with finance function and business stakeholders;
• Define and implement new developments to support the overall enterprise architecture;
• Lead the solution ownership for SAP Finance & Controlling processes, managing developments in the finance domain;
• Support IT development projects alongside Finance Solution Architects, contributing to architectural design, implementation, and documentation;
• Participate in the creation of the company’s Target Architecture and Architecture Vision;
• Collaborate with finance and other business functions to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements;
• Act as the primary point of contact for SAP FICO, configuring and customizing the solution to meet business needs;
• Lead resolution efforts for incidents related to SAP FICO, minimizing business disruption;
• Oversee testing and quality assurance processes, ensuring solution functionality and stability;
• Maintain data integrity, accuracy, and security within their system, complying with
• financial regulations and internal controls.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field;
• 3-5 years of experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA systems (mandatory);
• Experience with ServiceNow and additional SAP modules (BW, SuccessFactors, FICO, MM, Treasury) is a plus;
• Knowledge of global cost planning and Hyperion;
• Strong understanding of Finance, Treasury Back Office (TBO), and Business processes;
• Excellent proficiency in IT systems, interfaces, and project work;
• Advanced skills in spreadsheets (Google Sheets preferred);
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken;
• Strong communication skills with a team-oriented, collaborative approach;
• Ability to lead both direct and virtual teams, working effectively under pressure.
