DESCRIPTION
As an End User Computing Specialist you provide team members and leaders with hardware and software onsite or remote high quality support; you will ensure that systems are working properly according to company standards.
Please note that a valid right to work in Ireland is mandatory, as TELUS Digital is unable to provide assistance with obtaining work permits.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide technical guidance and support to end users to create a positive customer experience
  • Configure computers with its proper operating system and tools according to account/department needs
  • Provide end user support to enable access to tools or troubleshoot hardware/software malfunctions
  • Support the migration of users to new hardware or tools
  • Provide onsite support to resolve malfunctioning switch or internet outage, escalating any unresolved issues
  • Support asset management tasks if required by the region



REQUIREMENTS
  • English level B2
  • Valid work permit for Ireland
  • 1+ years of work experience in IT is required
  • Studies in Information Technology or equivalent
  • Technology certifications are desirable (A+, ITIL, PDQ inventory, computer maintenance or equivalent)
CORE COMPETENCIES:
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. While supporting and collaborating effectively with team members, maintaining a strong focus on customer needs and satisfaction.
FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES:
  • Computer support skills (configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance)
  • Knowledge in Windows and Microsoft tools
  • Knowledge of Google Suite is desirable
  • Technology monitoring skills are desirable
  • End user support and customer service skills, including effective communication with stakeholders
  • Bomgar management is desirable
  • Ability to document current and new processes
